I can imagine you are getting bored with the Public Service Announcements on the blog but today is the final day for our Spring Wheel Sale - hustle in for a great deal on a new set of race wheels for the upcoming season!  You ask what about my old wheel set?  Use it for training rides or have a permanent set of "trainer" wheels if you are hardcore and dedicated and ride your bike all winter long indoors.

Most of you know that the shop has extended our hours but I just want to make this final reminder of the new schedule as well.  So here you go and then onto what I believe would be one of the fastest bikes you could purchase for Triathlons as long as your engine is tuned up and firing properly as well!

Only 3 days left for the Spring Wheel Sale - Ends March 15th Close of Business!  Don't miss out on some great deals for new wheels for the upcoming season.  Wondering what you could do with your old wheel set?  Make it a training set and that way your new wheel set will be for races only!

Also a reminder about our new shop hours:

We have new hours

Tom had been hearing from his customers that it was not always possible to get to the shop with his hours that he had been using since the shop opened.  So he listened to his customers and effective March 1st here is the new schedule (yes they are in effect now!)

Monday: 10-8
Tuesday: 10-8
Wednesday: 10-6
Thursday: 10-8
Friday: 10-6
Saturday: 10-6

So just what bike might I be talking about?

The Cervelo P5

P5 six 3/4

P5 six profile

Cervelo says the following:

The P5 is CervĂ©lo’s latest creation, bringing to the world the most advanced and the most aerodynamic triathlon/TT bike possible. Designed using Formula 1-level Computational Fluid Dynamics software (CFD) and proven in the wind tunnel, the P5 is six to 11 watts faster than other so-called “superbikes”.

Fast and fit, this frameset is the most aerodynamic, best-fitting, and best match of stiffness and comfort. it features a BBright™ bottom bracket for ultimate power transfer and ComfortPly technology which removes unnecessary material to reduce vibration and improve ride quality. Proven as the fastest, its superiority is also demonstrated in its simplicity. The low-maintenance exclusive hydraulic brake system from Magura is aerodynamically superior and lighter than mechanical brakes, and yet stops on a dime. Designed for speed and versatility, this bike features a variety of custom and intuitive storage solutions combining optimal aero locations with ease of access. Skin surfaces are tuned for each AeroZone™ to optimize airflow conditions, resulting in crucial time savings of ~30 seconds in a 40-kilometre race.

Adopted overnight by all our top athletes, it already boasts seven Ironman wins within six months, with outrageous records in the bike split. David Zabriskie won his seventh U.S. Time Trial Championship on a P5, and Caroline ”Xena” Steffen won the 2012 Ironman European Championship. The ultimate proof? Ryder Hesjedal’s win at the 2012 Giro d’Italia, with a decisive TT stage resulting in a 17 second overall victory

P5 Magura Brake

Magura brakes don the bike and provide awesome stopping power and easy operation if a flat repair is required!

P5 Aerobar

Look at that cock-pit area - just screams out fast!

You can get the P5 in a Frameset for a custom build or already built up and inspected by Tom's professional staff with Shimano Dura Ace Di2 or SRAM Red group.
