Change It Up Wednesday - BIKE INDUSTRY NEWS

As posted on Facebook yesterday - TEAM KITS are in and if you pre-ordered one stop by the shop and pick it up.  If you are looking to purchase some team gear stop by and check out our overstock.  I will be wearing mine tonight at Sprague Brook for the Mountain Bike Race Series and Chris will be downtown tomorrow night racing in the Thursday Night Crit Series in his kit.

In other Shop news how many of you know that Tom's Pro Bike is really open 24/7??  We have a vending machine out front of the shop with repair parts and are looking for your suggestions on what we could add to make it more beneficial to our customers when our shop is not "open" for you to visit with us?  This is a photo off of the internet because last night was a little damp to take some pictures.  If you have a suggestion to include something specific send us an e-mail, stop by, comment to this post, or give us a call.

The Specialized Enduro SX is a limited-edition gated-racing frameset

For those downhill racers in our readership Specialized is introducing a limited edition Enduro SX.  Only 100 were being offered so availability might be hard to come by and they only made size S and L.

We mentioned that Specialized broke news on a Wind Tunnel at their California facility and it seems Giant wants a challenge between their Propel SL Advanced and the S-Works Venge to see which bike was more aero.

SRAM released details of their disc road brakes earlier this week

It seems as though the UCI is contemplating allowing hydraulic disc brakes into the peleton once they can see some performance data from the manufactures.

Pro Bike: Tyler Farrar's Cervelo R5

When he’s on his game, only a few men in the world are capable of outkicking Tyler Farrar down the home stretch. Farrar sprinted to third place in the third stage of the Amgen Tour of California aboard his Cervélo R5 furnished with Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 components, Rotor chain rings, Mavic wheels, and a 3T cockpit. Some photos from the Giro D'Italia and the lovely weather conditions the pros got to suffer through last week in Italy!
