Today we are highlighting the 2014 Colnago CX ZERO that I have the privilege of test riding this week. It started off with the commute home from the shop on Saturday, a 50 mile hill session yesterday through the Southtowns, and some more fun rides this week.
To get your interest higher here is a VIDEO REVIEW for you to look over and dream of the different rides that you could take this beauty out on.
My first impressions are as follows:
#1 - I had to change the stem because the stock one was quite long but that is a comfort item that is handled during our Free Professional Fit that comes standard on all bike purchases.
#2 - Mainly riding the Specialized Diverge recently the Colnago is much quicker than the Diverge. I climbed easier on the bigger cassette than on the Diverge and I attribute that to the frame and tire size.
#3 - You feel the road much more. It is a combination of skinnier tires and the lack of Zertz Inserts that come on the Diverge and Roubaix Specialized Carbon models (and others as well). I am sore in the shoulders this morning and that never happens when I ride the Diverge but it surely is something I could get used to based on the speed of this bike.
This is a great bike and it is on sale for $4,100.00 for the Full 11 Speed Ultegra Carbon Bike which in my opinion is a good price for this level of a bike. You will get many quick & comfortable miles out of this bike if you make the decision to purchase it. We only have 2 sizes available a 50 & 54 which are closer to 52 & 56 based on their geometry if comparing to most companies frame sizes. I am 5'10" and have a 32" inseam and feel very comfortable on the 54 just as reference.
Stop by today from 10-8 to check out all of our Sale Inventory!
