An updated BID BOARD went live yesterday. There were more bids out there and I know others are seriously contemplating making a move on the bike of their dreams. What is holding you back? You most likely cannot find the same models in a brand new bike at these low prices anywhere!
Although our choices are very slim in this area, today we are going to highlight the Specialized Line of Mountain Bikes:
EPIC: A multi XC World Champion, the Epic also captured Olympic gold in London. Available in carbon fiber and alloy models, the Epic features our proven 29er geometry, our active and independent FSR suspension, and is equipped with the proven Brain shock engineered to read the terrain to provide the perfect ride—whether sprinting uphill or descending at speed. The one-of-a-kind Brain shock allows you to accelerate under power as if the bike was a hardtail, however terrain forces activate the FSR suspension and Brain shock for increased momentum and control
STUMPJUMPER: When the trail demands a quick, efficient and agile weapon, the Stumpjumper hardtail answers the call. With numerous World and National Championships to its name, this pure-bred cross-country machine is available in both carbon fiber and alloy frame options, plus the aggressive geometry is dialed for precise handling at race speed.
ROCKHOPPER: Performance, reliability and value—the Rockhopper is designed for stretches of flowing singletrack, and now in both 29er and 650b wheel options. With hydraulic disc brakes, damped suspension fork and a lightweight butted A1 aluminum frame, the Rockhopper delivers proven performance riders seek on the trail.
HARDROCK: Whether busting down a dirt path or tackling singletrack, the Hardrock delivers versatility and value. The knobby tires make quick work of rough terrain, and with disc brakes and durable suspension fork trail chatter is no obstacle. Combining practicality and performance, the Hardrock features a triple chainring setup and integrated rack and fender mounts for equipment compatibility.
CRUX: The CruX is the weapon of choice for that non-stop, lungs screaming, heart exploding, ‘goashardasyoucanfor60minutes’ cross race. With complete 'cross-dedicated frames, in canti and disc, plus race-optimized geometry, tapered SL4-style headtube for nimble handling, and a World Cup-winning pedigree, it’s everything serious racers look for.

Today we are going to highlight the Specialized Men's Line of Road Bikes:
Venge: The Venge is a pure-science mind wrapped in a lay-down-the-law body. With a one-two punch of Shiv-inspired aerodynamics and Tarmac-borne stiffness, this machine was built to fly. With multiple World Tour victories under its belt, the FACT carbon frame and supreme handling delivers the winning formula of aero, light weight, and stiffness. With a measured 22 watts of free power at 40km/hr over the Tarmac, it’s tailor-made for serious performers who like to crush competitors’ dreams and break spirits into tiny pieces.
Tarmac: Tarmac is YOUR complete race bike. The only bike where every size has been developed independently based on performance targets derived from real world data. So no matter what size you ride, you’ll get complete performance. Because there’s only one bike you care about…yours.
Roubaix: When called to arms, the classic winning Roubaix reacts as though simply an extension of mind and body. Pros like Tom Boonen—who rode his Roubaix SL4 to a record equaling 4th Paris-Roubaix victory in 2012—count on its smooth ride and responsive handling to get the job done. With size-specific engineering and a frame that delivers the best balance of vertical compliance, low weight, and torsional stiffness, riders of all sizes can experience the same ride quality and performance as Boonen.
Allez: The all-new Allez is built to explode off the front and deliver unbridled speed to the ride, and all without blowing up your wallet in process. With pro-level looks, high-end performance, and a feisty demeanor that’ll serve you well on weekend rides or when lining up in local races, this bike is ready to take you to the next level in your riding.
Secteur: A fatigue-fighter, the Secteur is on a mission: to inspire you to ride further, and help you reach your goals in maximum comfort. With Zertz and FACT carbon fork to reduce road vibration, the Secteur’s alloy frame delivers a ride that’s fast, smooth, and a great value. A century, that Gran Fondo you read about, or just holding your own on a weekly group ride—these are excellent aboard a Secteur.

Its stiff, lightweight SL4 frame cranks up the speed dial for fast accelerations, while the tapered headtube delivers precise steering and handling for carving corners or dominating tricky descents. Whether you’re bridging a gap or creating one, the Amira will fly.
