Reverse Bike Auction - AND THEN THERE WERE 4 DAYS LEFT

Since the final price drop last Friday we have had over 30 bikes leave the shop.  If you are interested in a specific bike then I would get in touch with us today to make sure it is still available, set some time aside for a test ride, and take your new bike home with you for the great fall riding that is available around our area.

We are at the final price drop and they are good through this Thursday, 10/16/2014 close of business and then they are gone forever.  The bikes will return to their normal sale price and this type of an event might not happen again!  Or maybe it will be an annual event?  Are you willing to risk that?  You have already watched your bike hang around through 6 weeks of price drops - are you really going to chance that you can't get it for almost (or over) 50% off of MSRP?  

We have sold some Cervelos.  We have also sold some Colnago's and even some Lynskeys.  We sure have sold Specialized as well along with Fuji and Felt.  We have framesets or complete builds for you to chose from.  If your bike is on the board and you have been contemplating and waiting - well this is the week to make your move.  We have Carbon, Titanium, Steel, and Aluminum for you to chose from.  People are coming here from Syracuse to get in on the great deals so that tells you how good they are!

Reverse Auction Sale - FRAME SETS

Today is Price Drop Day at Tom's Pro Bike as the Reverse Bicycle Auction enters it's second week.  All sale prices drop another 5% off of already great prices but there is still time today to come in and do some test rides and decide which bike and what price you will be bidding on!

Today we are going to focus on FrameSets and we have them from all of our manufacturers and in all of the materials as well.  If you are looking to do a custom Titanium, Carbon, Steel, or Aluminum build and need a frame to start the project off then come in and check out our inventory.  We have all of the components to put your bike together as well and some of those are even on sale like our wheel clearance prices that are available now on select wheels.  If you have a dream bike then stop by and see us to get your dreams turned into reality!

CycloCross started this past Sunday with the Knox Farm Cross Race. Buffalo Ski Club will be hosting a race on September 14th and you can REGISTER HERE. There is also a new Mountain Bike venue that will be hosting the Harris Hill Hustle on September 20th in Gerry, NY (Just east of the Dunkirk area)

Tom's Pro Bike Reverse Auction - LIVE TOMORROW

In the Corporate World today is known as Friday Eve!  At Tom's Pro Bike today is Live Auction Eve!

Our Reverse Bicycle Auction goes live tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What does that mean for you?  You can start the actual bid process on the bike of your dreams.  If you are willing to pay Week 1 Sale Price (which is not a bad deal at all!) you can come into the shop tomorrow from 10-6 and buy the bike.  If you want to hold out for Week 2 or Week 3 in hopes that no one else buys it out from underneath you in Week 1 or Week 2 then you can place the bid on the bike.  If you are a bargain hunter and want to hold out for Week 6 then bid away but remember whoever puts the first bid in for that weeks sale price is the only bid that we will take for that week.  And if it sells before your week you get your deposit back to shop for another bike!

One key point to remember is that if the bike is not bid on you can come into the store and purchase the bike that day.

How do you find out what bikes are available?  Click on THIS LINK and it will take you to the Tom's Pro Bike Reverse Bicycle Auction page.  Down at the bottom of that page is this:

Click on that link and it will take you to our inventory page.  Once we start getting bids we will update the list bi-weekly so you know if the bike is spoken for at a specific price.  If you try to put a bid in on a bike that has already been bid on it will reject your bid just in case we don't get the sheet updated with that specific bike bid.

It may sound confusing but it really isn't.  Look for your dream Lynskey Titanium Road Bike or a Specialized Carbon Cross Bike for the upcoming race season or even a Fuji Carbon Road Bike and see if we have your size.  Come into the shop and take it for a test ride.  You can bid it on right there for an upcoming week or pay that weeks Sale Price and bring it home with you.  We are open from 10-8 to do test rides so stop by the shop and check out our inventory!

Pre-Blogger Bill Vacation Post

During the Summer Sale we had a beautiful Surly Cross Check Frameset for sale.  I posted it on a site that I frequent with Gravel Grinders and Bike Lovers from the Mid-West figuring since no one in Buffalo had jumped at this cool bike then we should offer it to the rest of the world.  I put the post out about 7:00pm on a Thursday and the bike was paid for and shipped out first thing Friday morning.

The story was his girlfriend had the black frame but really loved the Robin's Egg Blue and he wanted to surprise her with this one.  I asked him to send us a picture of the build when it was transformed and he did.

If you are looking to make that special build stop by the shop and let's talk.  We have framesets available or can order on in for you.  Think of it like this - if you were going to own just 1 bike what would you want that 1 bike to be for you?  Write it down and come talk to us at Tom's.  We want to make your vision a reality!
