Change It Up Wednesday - BIKE INDUSTRY NEWS

Welcome back to the weekly bike industry news update.  Today we are covering a wide variety of topics and we start with the introduction of a new rear hub from Velocity that is a great do all for a rim that handles road, cyclocross, and mountain biking as well.  It is also compatible with Campagnola, Shimano and Sram cassettes with a changeable freehub.

One of the lines of bikes that Tom's carries is Felt.  Today they provide us with a tour of their headquarters.

Recently we have discussed the Lysnkey Titanium entry into Fat Biking and here is a picture of The Drifter (even though the name is going to be changed but hopefully after my bike comes in because that would be cool having a limited edition (name wise) bike wouldn't it).  Click on the link for more great information and watch out for a summer/fall review when mine hits the road and many posts this winter from the local trails (and possible Alaska as well).

For Fall/Early Winter/Spring riding 45Nrth is introducing a new shoe for you non-trainer folks - The Fasterkatt.  Last year they introduced a heavy duty winter shoe and they were very difficult to find so if you are interested in a shoe like this I would get word to Tom quick so we can get in on the order.

Here is a quick Look at the 2014 Specialized S-Works Epic.  The S-Works retails around $10,500 but the Epic line starts at $3,300 so there are a wide variety of options available for the mountain biker out there!

Reservations are being taken for our test ride at our Specialized Demo Days August 23rd and 24th:

Don't forget we have our Summer Clearance Sale happening now:
