Spring 50 Recap

It was an action packed week and weekend around Tom's Pro Bike the past 7 days.  The past week was wrapped up by the Annual Tom's Spring 50 (25 as well) that was very well attended.  The weather was perfect (and possibly a tad bit warm but I have heard stories of years past and snow and rain and cold so I am not going to complain one bit), the company was great, and the bar-b-que was awesome! - Thanks to Mike and Lori for all of their hard work on the food front!

Tom's Ice Cream Bike was on site again and people were enjoying some ice cream to help them recover from their effort during the morning's ride.

Saturday found Tom and Blogger Bill out in Niagara County for the Hospice Gran Fondo.  Another great event supported by a lot of Tom's customers and showing off their kits!

Keep an eye out on the newly revamped Tom's Pro Bike Website for all of our events and if you need a new bike to carry you around the upcoming rides stop by and check out our great inventory!  We are open from 10-8 tonight!

Don't forget to sign up for the May National Bike Challenge.

Want to race that Mountain Bike.  Wednesday Night Single Track Racing at Sprague Brook Registration is open.  It started last night and there are 7 weeks remaining!  It was a great time with many new faces trying it out - so don't be afraid to try something new!

Where To Ride This Week/Weekend

Well riding season is getting into full swing and this week is no different.  First off is Tom's Annual Spring 25/50 this coming Sunday at Westwood Park.  This ride benefits The Heritage Trail in Lancaster, NY and is the only even that Tom charges for as all proceeds go directly to maintaining the trail.  $25.00 pre-registration or $30.00 race day registration!

There are many different group levels so don't worry about not having anyone to ride with.  Come out and support The Heritage Trail, ride your bike, get some good food, and have a great time.  9:00am start time - see you at Westwood!

Starting Wednesday night is the first of 8 straight weeks of Mountain Bike Races at Sprague Brook.  Just so you know that is why the rains have started because this is always a great time to get wet and muddy and laugh with your buddies at a great little race venue.  There are multiple class levels this year and distance goes from 4 miles to 16 depending on what you select.  Registration Link is below and don't be afraid - this is a great way to challenge yourself and meet some like minded individuals if you are new to Mountain Biking!

Don't forget to sign up for the May National Bike Challenge.
