Onto the news that caught my eye this week: I always try and find news that pertains to our main brands and this week I found two articles that focused on Specialized. First is a saddle review and the second is some new Limited Edition Frames that are going to be offered.
The Specialized Henge Saddle was reviewed and I am going to highlight a couple of the main points and link the review for those interested in reading it complete write-up:
- CyclingNews really likes Specialized saddles on the whole and this one is highly rated as well.
- Very affordable saddle that provides comfort and protection
- Available in a lighter and more expensive model as well
Next up is the news that Specialized is going to offer 3 Limited Edition bikes a month with around 200-400 frames manufactured each. The above full suspension mountain bike TLD StumpJumper Evo is a cool looking bike that is going to be available with 100 in 26" wheel size and 100 29'er wheel size available.
Last week during TT/Triathlon week we highlighted the Fuji D-6 4.0 and news is coming out that Fuji is ready to release their new TT/Traithlon bike the Fuji Norcom looks to be released in May sometime. There is a teaser video on the link if you would like to try and get a sneak peek at their new machine!
VeloNews came out with information on SRAM's new 22 speed group and updated features to some existing components. It is going to be available in Red and Force.
Finally a link to the tire specs that were used this past weekend at the Paris-Roubaix race.
