Cervelo Traditional Bike
The R3 Ultegra by Cervelo is a 2013 traditional bike with Shimano components. Traditional bikes are designed with speed in mind - often times at the sacrifice of comfort. The bike will be stiff and light with an aggressive geometry in order to maximize the bike's efficiency. The lighter and stiffer a bike, the better the power from each stroke is transferred to the drive-train and, subsequently, to its wheels. The handlebars are usually positioned lower than the seat to allow for a more aerodynamic posture, and the wheels are closer together to allow for quick handling.

MSRP was $3,900 and is on sale through the end of the month for $2,895.00

Demo Day Weekend Highlights

Demo Days is coming up and we have some great news.  Tom's Pro Bike Service will host Specialized Bicycle Company's traveling demo trucks on April 25 at the shop in Lancaster.  Those attending will be able to take extended test rides of the best 2015 Specialized road.  We have a Big Sale taking place, too!

The 2015 Lineup of Specialized Bicycles is coming and cycling enthusiasts will get a chance to take out some very expensive bikes for test rides over the roads in the area. The Specialized Demo Events are designed to give riders a longer time on the bike than they might normally get at the local Tom's Pro Bike Service location.

The test rides will all leave from the store parking lot.

Specialized has announced that the following bike models will be available for test riding on a first come, first served basis. Please bring your helmet, driver's license, and water bottle. You can bring your own pedals if you wish.

When you come for your test ride, you might also want to check out some of the items on sale that day.  During the entire month of April over 100 model 2014 or earlier bikes will be liquidated at prices so low they will amaze you.  On the day of the event, many other items in the store will be discounted. The shop will also be open on Sunday.

Upcoming Events at Tom's Pro Bike & The Neighborhood

It is that time of the year again - Tom's Pro Bike Demo Days is happening on April 25 from 10-6 and it is always a great time.  There is a Facebook Link to it if you want to give them a heads up that you plan on stopping by but attendance will not be taken!  I will not be in attendance this year because by 10:00am I will be 6 hours into a 334 mile gravel race in Iowa but I will miss out on all of the festivities and chatting with the greatest customers in the world!



Also coming up soon is the annual Single Track Racing Wednesday Night Mountain Bike Race Series.  There are some changes this year such as it has been moved back to Wednesday nights, it is 8 races now, your top 6 finishes count towards the final results, there is a Fat Bike and Citizens Category.  So what does this all mean?  You can have a great time racing mountain bikes on 8 Wednesdays and it doesn't matter if you are new to racing or not - there is a category for all to become involved.

There are some great sales available right now leading up to Demo Days.  All 2013 and older bikes are seriously marked down and 2014 bikes are 10% off with 10% Gift Card of the remaining cost left (i.e. $1000.00 MSRP = $900.00 Price with a $90.00 Gift Card).
