Triathlon/TT Tuesday - CERVELO P2

P2 profile

Today we are going to highlight the Cervelo P2 Triathlon/TT Bike.  This is Cervelo's entry level bike in their TT/Triathlon Line but there is not much "Entry Level" on the P2!

Let's see what Cervelo has to say about the P2:

A development of our first triathlon/TT bike, this bike has grown to become the world’s most popular triathlon bike. While being a great value it offers pure triathlon geometry and a stellar pedigree including being a two-time winner of Ironman World Championships in Kona. The P2 has a slightly taller head tube and two-position seat post adding comfort for a wide variety of riders.

The bike has a MSRP of $700.00 and is a very capable mountain bike.  I would not consider it entry level because there are models with lower pricing and component levels but if you are looking for a bike that can handle local trails without breaking the bank this is a great way to go.  If I were contemplating a 100 mile race or some hard core riding I would look to a higher level of bike and components but if you are wanting to ride Sprage Brook, Hunters Creek, or other local trails this bike will do the trick for you.
